Well nearly on the patch anyway. Thanks to one of our newer menbers who has installed a weather station at his home that feeds the data direct on to a web page we can now check the current weather at the site before we go up there. Roger leaves at Seaton and can see the site from where he lives so the wind speed and direction is spot on at all times. Here is a link. There are several pages of information that you can access from the bottom of the page menu. For those of you that don't know the patch is orientated SSW about 210 deg.
Thanks Roger and I hope all members find it useful.

We are as usual holding our annual Easter Funday this Easter Sunday. We have had to hold back on the final decision until we were reasonably sure of a dry day. The forecast is now for a dry day with some sunshine and a moderate breeze. There will be the an egg hunt for the kids, refreshments available from lunch time onwards and flying events in the afternoon. Come and join in the fun with your club mates. All welcome.

We have now finalised the Indoor Flying arrangements for this winter. As last year the venue is Montsaye Sports Centre. The booking is for 5.30 to 7.30 pm on Thursday nights. There is an one hour sesion on the 17th Dec and then 15 weeks of the full 2 hours starting from 7 th Jan 2010. The fees will be the same as last year working out at approx £3.00 per session paid in two halves at the begining and half way through. The more people that sign up then the lower the cost as this is a non profit making venture and only sets out to recover the fees. All those interested can contact me or Carl Ward or just turn up at the venue on the night. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
