The funday has been cancelled due to bad weather.
The club is hosting a fun day on the 26th July.
We will have refreshments, competitions with small entry fee for competitiors.
Members of local clubs are welcome to fly and participate. Please bring proof of insurance.
This years Easter Fun day is to be held this Sunday 12th April between 12 am and 5 pm.
There will be a BBQ and refreshments available and some competitions for all members to enjoy.
For those members who haven't yet paid their subs, come and do it on Sunday and enjoy the event at the same time.
The club fees for 2015 has remained unchanged from 2014.
The Standard Senior fee is £73. Payment can be made to any Committee member.

Urgent Help Required.
The mower needs some mainenance. We need a volunteer to help out. With the good weather we are only going to have 3-4 more weeks before the grass is too long to fly.
1. The mower needs a service. Oil, Filter, Cooling System.
2. Blades need to be sharpended, this requires the cutting boxes to be removed and the blades taken out. We can get them sharpened once they have been removed.
3. When rebuilding the cutting boxes several parts of the middle cutter need to be exchanged with our spare blades.

When removing the blades the need to be identified so that we get them sharpened for rotating in the correct direction.
The club fees for 2014 have been set at this years AGM. The clubs annual membership runs from Jan to Dec and so its time to renew.
In order to renew your membership and insurance you can pay by cash or cheque. The money can be given to any Committee Member or posted to the Treasurer. You will find the address for Daimon McMaster on the back of your membership card.

The date and venue for this years AGM has been set. It is at the GT Oakley Cricket Club in Corby on Thursday 12th December @ 19:30.
Committee member nomination forms will be going up this weekend. I would encourage everyone to consider volunteering some of thier time next year to be on the Committee and help with the running of the club.
If you have any motions for this years AGM they need to be submitted to the club secratary (Jerry Lunt) before Monday 2nd December to allow time for the Agenda to be posted to all members. An Email to email@example.com would be sufficient.
Sunday 10th nov at 10:15 we will be presenting a poppy wreath for Remembrance Sunday at spanhoe airfield war memorial on the laxton rd, be nice to see a few club members there. Please remember there is to be no flying at the club site before 12pm on this date.
Then from 5pm on Sunday 10th nov we will be holding our annual bonfire and firework night. Keri is kindly going to make chilli and if you like bring a couple of buns and burgers, because no doubt the BBQ will be going on, should be lighting the fire about half 5 and the display shortly afterwards. Although the club is supplying fireworks it would be great if you fancied bringing a few more.

The club has been invited to put on a flying display at the Brigstock Beer Festival on Saturday the 21st September 2013.
The festival has been run since 2004 and raised money for local charities. The festival runs from the evening of the 19th September to Sunday the 22nd.
The club has been invited to put on a combination of flying display and static display on Saturday the 21st September. BMFA approval is in place to fly on the Cricket Club grounds. If you would like to help out and attend the event the please contact the Jason Bishop the Event Organiser.
To fly pilots will have to hold a B Certificate. A Certificate holders will only be able to fly at the event organiser and safety officers discretion.
Please ensure you bring your BMFA insurance card as proof of insurance and certificate.
